I was watching the ABC news the other night and found it interesting what 10 things annoy people. Scores were based on a 10 point scale. They are as follows:
- Hidden Fees (8.9)
- Not getting a human on the phone (8.6)
- Tailgating (8.3)
- Cell-phone usage by drivers (8.0)
- Incomprehensible bills (7.8)
- Dog poop (7.6)
- Unreliable Internet Service (7.6)
- Discourteous cell phone use (7.6)
- Waiting for repair people (7.5)
- Spam (7.5)
- Shrunken products (7.2)
- Very slow drivers (7.0)
- Unreliable cell-phone serivces (7.0)
- Traffic jams (6.9)
- Noisy neighbors (6.9)
- Poor airline service (6.9)
- Shouting on TV or radio shows (6.5)
- Checkout lines (6.4)
- Speeding drivers (6.1)
- Password and Pins (6.1)
- Inaccurate weather forecasts (4.3)
Now I was looking at this list and realized that I have a lot of the same gripes. I can not stand calling customer service and never getting someone on the line. I hate all these hidden fees from credit card companies and utilities company. I don’t even want to get on tailgating. We all know what I think about repair people. Give them a break. But not much else.

I totally do some of those. Oops!
Hmmmmm…my biggest pet peeve is when people make an appointment with you and don’t show up,don’t call to let you know they won’t be there and you are left waiting ALL day!
AND
When you have an appointment,say medical,and they are running WAY behind schedule…first thing in the morning!

Yeah,I share a lot of those same pet peeves,probably my #1 being having to talk to a computer on the phone,rather than a live person. Anytime I have to call At&T about our cable or phone,it takes forever to get a real person on line. UGH!

I will admit,most of these things annoy me too! Especially the inaccurate forecasts. Why do they get paid to guess 95% of the time?
When people don’t wash their hands after using the toilet in a public bathroom.
It is no wonder why the H1N1 flu was spread as quickly as it was.
Ew.

I’d agree with all of those. Can’t pick a top one,there are so many that compete for that spot.
I too have some of the same frustrations—waiting for repair people may be at the top of my list—ughh!

I don’t get peeved very easily…but I would say that dog poop would be my TOP! Especially in my yard! =(
Hmmm…I can sympathize with some of the things on the list,but let me tell you,I fly into a murderous rage when the weatherman is inaccurate…Not!

For me,the number 2 item is my number 1 pet peeve —I hate,Hate,HATE when I can’t speak to a human. The computer never understands me. I don’t know why,I used to do voice-over for a living?!?!?
