I rented a movie from the local grocery store and there is this preview about Fox Digital Copy. I was curious so I went to check out this new software. I mean it would be great to be able to watch a movie anywhere you want. Right?
Now I didn’t purchase this movie. I rented it. I didn’t plan on steal it. Though I’m sure that some would if they were in my situation. I was just curious about this new software.
Here’s what I found out:
Its not a software,it is literally a disk that you can download into your computer,Ipod,or whatever. But you can only download it once with a passcode.
What the heck?
Why would we do that? I realize that movie people are claiming that they are losing money by the theft of the movie by renters and such.
But…
Come on if you buy the movie, you should be able to use it anywhere you want. You shouldn’t be restricted to one use. Isn’t that like renting it but paying full price for it? What a rip off.
If I buy the movie than I should have all rights to it. This is not fair at all. But hey someone has to make more money off of us all.
What do you think?
