1.  What’s your favorite time of the day, and why?

I’d have to say that is first thing in the morning.  Why?  Because everything is a clean slate for the day, you can accomplish everything.

2.  If health wasn’t an issue, what food could you live off of?

Hmmm if health wasn’t an issue, what food would I live off?  I’d have to say lasagna.  I love lasagna.  Oh wait it could be salmon too.

3.  If you could have one wish granted (besides wishing for more wishes), what would it be?

The one wish that I would ask that would be granted is that all of my family and friends would have good health for the rest of their lives.

4. What’s one thing that you get teased about a lot?

Right now, it would have to be the new white pubic hair on my head.  It’s white…  there is no gray to it at all.  And it is soooo gross.  It stands up on its own.  YUCK!

5. If you could choose one movie, book, or TV show to spend your life in, which would you pick? What type of character would you be?

Are you kidding me?  My life is crazy enough without going into a book or movie atmosphere.  I think I’ll stick to my own.  Ohhh wait that means that it could end at the end of the show.  Hmm nope I don’t want to skip anything.

6. If you could have one talent that you don’t already have, what would it be?

To make money??  I don’t seem to know how anymore.

7.If money were no object, where would you go on vacation?

I’ve always wanted to go to Ireland and Scotland.  I want to run barefoot through a castle.

8. If you were an awesome singer, which genre would you sing?

Country without a doubt. 

9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, what would it be?

Oh this is a hard one.. One store..what store would I go to?  How about Target?  Naaah.  Sears?  Naahh.  Macy?  Naaah.  Walmart?  Ohh heck no. 

I’m having issues picking a store.  I think it would have to be a hardware store though.  Maybe Home Depot or Lowes.  I’d want to get everything I could to upgrade my house.  Maybe a new bathroom or a new shed for all my crap.. Oops stuff.

10. If you could live in any point in time, when would it be?

Right now.  I’m a big believer that I am who I am because of what I have gone through.  I would never want to give up my kids.  Well maybe my husband sometimes.  But never my kids.. well ok sometimes lol.

Now that being said, I would love to visit my last year of high school to see my grandpa again.  I’d love to visit the year before Michael’s death, so I could talk to him again.  So I could kiss him just one more time.

11. If every outfit in your wardrobe had to be one color, what would it be?

Oh my god, one color.  Lordie what color would I pick?  You know my first thought was black.  We all look good in black.  But wouldn’t that be a little morbid for the rest of my life.  So maybe a dark green or purple.  Oh that stinks.. I don’t want to be one color for the rest of my life that reminds me of uniforms.  I like choices.

12. If you were one of the seven dwarves, which one would you be?  (Doc, Grumpy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Bashful, Happy, or Dopey)

Darn my kids would say Grumpy.  I’m not grumpy.  I’m Happy but thats not what they would say.  My husband would say Bashful.  Cuz he can’t get none.  HEHEHEHE!

13. What’s the last album you listened to?

It was Celine Dion.  Can’t tell you what album.  Just know that it was her.

14. What’s something we’d be surprised to know about you?

That I honestly love my husband with all my heart.

So I was reading over at Keeping Up with the Schultzs.  Amy was doing her 2009 End of the Year Survey.  I liked it so much that I want to join it.  If you do please let me know I want to read your answers.

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
You all must not being reading my blog.. I’ve never blogged before.  Ok wait wait..there is more.  I carved a pumpkin for the first time.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did make some last year.  I didn’t meet them all.  I didn’t get find a new job.  I’m not making new resolutions this year.  I have all I need I have my family, our health and great friends.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, I’m starting to wonder who didn’t give birth.  Let’s see, my nephews both had sons, Aiden and Alexandria.  My brother in law had a baby girl, Gabrielle.  Two of my friends had a baby.  Oh I adopted my son Monkeyboy as well.  So does that mean I gave birth.  Oh man that is a scary thought.  He weighs 45 lbs.  Ok I’m tired I need to go to bed for a year lol.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
I had two friends lose their dad.

5. What countries did you visit?
None. I just stayed in the United States.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Money money money!!!!  Give me money!  Have you not read I’m broke?

7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Visiting my brother in Florida.  I got to reconnect with my brother.
Visiting my sister in Florida.  The feud don’t you read me?

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Adopting Monkeyboy.  We are so very lucky.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not making money

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Pneumonia

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Things for my family that made them smile.  The pumpkin to carve for Halloween.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Pumpkin and Monkeyboy

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My brother in laws, My own at times

14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, Home, Food, and to my family.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
That I could go visit my sister

I am still happy, I’m still the same size and I’m poorer.

Playing with my kids at every opportunity

Laundry.. I hate laundry

With my family on 5 different occasions

21. Did you fall in love in 2009?
Yes, as always deeper with my husband, Ken and my daughter, Pumpkin.  I fell in love with my son, Monkeyboy.  My new niece and two great nephews.

22. What was your favorite TV program?
Ellen, NCIS, General Hospital, Criminal Minds, American Idol and House.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you did not hate this time last year?
I do not think so. I really do not hate anyone. I may dislike them.  Well ok maybe my brother in law.

Twilight series

A new car

I stayed at home with my kids.  Went out to eat that night with my husband and kids.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
To have found a job at home.  I don’t want to leave my kids.

That’s not a paper bag is it?  Ok it works on me.

My husband

I don’t actually think like that.  I fancied my husband most.  No he’s not reading this lol.

The Health Care Issues..

My sister

All of my followers.  I love each and every one of you.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
That life is for living and not to worry about the small stuff.  That I have to raise my kids the way I need to and not according to someone else’s standard.

1. What color is your favorite hoodie? Royal Blue
2. Do you plan outfits? Sometimes.
3. What’s the closest thing to you that’s red? My husband’s hair
4. Did you meet anybody new today? Yes, even gave her my website address

12. Do you like your hair? Sometimes.  I wish the white hair would go away.

19. Have you ever been in a castle? Yes I live in an area where this old guy who was from Ireland (I think).  He built his own castle.  It is truly amazing.  I want to visit Scotland to go through more some day.  I love castles.  Wait, I also have been to Castle skating rink.  Does that count?
20. Do you know your neighbors? Most of them some of the time too.  Well I do have the rednecks..you all know about them.
21. Have you made a prank phone call? A long long time ago
22. Do you own a gun? No but my dad is still working on me about it. 
23. Can you count backwards from 74? If I try it I bet I could….
24. Brown or white eggs? I am white eggs.  Some reason every time I see brown eggs I think chocolate and can’t eat it.
25. Ever been on a train? Yes….
26. What year did you graduate? Do I really have to tell that?  I graduated high school in 1983.
27. Is your hair curly? Straight as a board..fine and thick
28. Last time you cried? When my nephew left on Friday
29. Ever walked into a wall? Of course and I still do it sometimes.
30. Do you like your life right now? Most of the time.  Come on lets be real.  I wouldn’t change anything if I could.  But there are times that I want to pull out my hair as well as yours.
31. How often do you talk on the phone? When it rings.  I don’t call people that often.
32. What is your favorite animal? Favorite animals of all time is a monkey.  We had a squirrel monkey when I was growing up during my dad’s short stint at the zoo.  It was so little you could put it in your pocket.
33. What was the most recent thing you bought? Skateboard for Pumpkin and Scooter for Monkeyboy for Christmas

35. Have you ever crawled through a window? I had to crawl into the house on several occasions.  I won’t say why my mom reads this.
